So Prestifilippo will quickly collect used adult and youth gym shoes, indoor and outdoor soccer cleats, and gently worn athletic clothes. She plans to distribute the soccer equipment when in Brazil.
'In advance, we intend to ship six to 10 boxes and distribute the things to impoverished schools, under-resourced orphanages, and those that don't have much,' she said.
